Our Story

In 1966, Harry Huntzberry started performing residential work in the town of Smithsburg, MD with his brothers and just a few pieces of equipment. Harry eventually parted ways with his brothers and took sole ownership of the company. Under Harry's leadership, the company began to take on larger Commercial projects and expand outside of the Smithsburg area.

In 2004, Harry passed the keys of the company to his sons, Brad and Damon. Together, the two sons picked up where Harry left off and have continued to oversee the growth and success of Huntzberry Brothers, Inc. Brad, as President and CEO, is responsible for the company's overall strategy and operations. Damon, officially retired as of August 2024 after 41 years of dedication to the business.

With around 70 employees now, Huntzberry Brothers, Inc. specializes in performing work for Residential, Municipal, Commercial, and Industrial projects across the entire Four-State area.
